Non-urgent advice: Making Appointments

Please complete the “AccuRx” triage form clearly, mentioning your availability for the next four days days.

After receiving your completed online form, we will triage and book a necessary appointment.

The appointment could be “Telephone” or “Face-to-Face” with a Doctor, Nurse or other health clinician.

Non-urgent advice: We provide:

Appointments with a nurse, clinical pharmacist or doctor
Advance appointments with a doctor of your choice up to 2 weeks to 1 month ahead Extended hour appointments are available Monday – at another Hub practice through the GP Co-op
Early appointments every day from 09:00 am. You may book an advance appointment (up to 2 weeks ahead) with your preferred doctor. If you require an urgent appointment though we will make every effort, it may not be possible to see the doctor of your choice.

Non-urgent advice: Cancel an Appointment

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.

Home Visits

Patients are encouraged to attend the surgery where we have more comprehensive facilities, unless they are house-bound or there are exceptional circumstances. If you would like a home visit please phone the surgery to talk to the doctor who will assess the situation on a case by case basis and decide whether to make a home visit.

When we are Closed

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.

If you urgently need medical help or advice and it is life threatening, dial 999.  If not life-threatening, contact NHS 111 by calling 111. Further details about the NHS 111 service can be found on the NHS 111 Website.
